Geronimo Power, LLC is seeking a Lead Solar Technician to provide on-site leadership for the operation of the 99 MW Grant Solar facility near Canistota, SD. You will direct day-to-day site operations, support technician development, and ensure work aligns with prudent utility practices and company standards.

The role reports to the Area Manager, Field Operations and requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year degree or technical school certificate with relevant experience or 5+ years in the power industry.
• At least 3 years’ experience in solar or power generation operations and maintenance.
• Experience providing day-to-day technical leadership in an operations environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate across all levels.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day site operations and direct site personnel to maximize plant availability and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with EHS programs, analyses, audits, and training.
• Coordinate with Area Manager, EHS, Engineering, Asset Management and others to meet requirements.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance, outages, troubleshooting, and warranty activities.
• Plan daily work and manage the maintenance schedule, outages and work orders.
• Operate and maintain plant electrical and mechanical equipment, including high-voltage systems.
