Job summary

AES Corporation, through AES Clean Energy, seeks a Performance Engineer to support the O&M Engineering team and optimize the performance of our growing PV solar and battery storage projects portfolio.

You will analyze operating performance, lead performance tests, investigate site issues, and produce KPI reports while collaborating with field service and asset management teams. Travel up to 10–15% within the U.S. may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Strong understanding of industry trends in production tools and processes.
• Proficiency with advanced analysis and database tools for development of metrics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance and trends of solar + storage sites.
• Lead execution of performance tests and analyze performance data.
• Collaborate with field service and asset management teams to improve site performance.
• Produce performance reports with variance analysis and KPI reviews.
