AES Corporation seeks a Senior Engineer for the AES Clean Energy inverter fleet, based on-site in multiple US locations. You will oversee troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls for utility-scale PV inverters, coordinating with reliability teams on performance improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in high-voltage and solar design, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with SCADA and power systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in high-voltage design/engineering, solar design, or related fields.
• Experience with HV/MV utility equipment and power systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of the AESCE inverter fleet.
• Coordinate with reliability and performance engineers on improvement technologies for the inverter fleet.
• Lead technical projects to increase asset performance and reduce O&M costs.
• Develop PM procedures based on OEM manuals with engineers.
• Support development of SOPs and training for O&M teams.
