Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

You will work on active construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with AHJs, engineers, and subcontractors. Ideal candidates have a technical degree, drone experience, and field engineering or construction management exposure in renewables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Experience operating drones or possessing an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) license.
• Experience in Field Engineering, Project Engineering, or Construction Management in the Renewables or Oil & Energy fields.
• Experience in a leadership position and multi-lingual communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with local, county, and state Authorities Having Jurisdictions (AHJs).
• Create and conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) to verify sites meet design specifications.
• Document and maintain construction and engineering drawings, including red-line sets.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to their Scopes of Work.
• Review construction material submittals and assist in pre-construction planning.
