Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Safety-sensitive Solar Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale PV and energy storage systems in Hamilton, TX. The role requires following strict safety procedures and working with SCADA and CMMS for maintenance records.

Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, inverters and high-voltage components, and field collaboration with remote operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M.
• Competency in industrial or utility power operations, troubleshooting, and general maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on AC and DC systems, including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage components.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA and contribute to commissioning, testing, and system modifications.
• Follow safety protocols, including JHA and LOTO, ensuring compliance with site procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as required.
