Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager within SDI Services to oversee solar PV drilling, pile foundations, and racking installations from site to closeout. The role emphasizes technical leadership, proactive risk management, and coordination across design, procurement, and field teams.

Travel is expected; you will ensure schedules, budgets, and safety practices align with project goals while maintaining client communications and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills
• Leadership ability and strong sense of urgency
• Organizational and communication skills
• Drafting and computer skills; knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Understanding of project management controls: scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating

Responsibilities

• Project Manager is the central point for the assigned project, leading contract management, communication, reporting, scheduling, budget maintenance, change management, risk management, document control, meetings and closeout
• Assist planning, directing, supervising, and controlling execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions
• Determine technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project
• Obtain, analyze and circulate technical and contractual information to other project team members
• Prepare reports and change notices for client and management
• Manage schedules, budgets and material logistics; interface with procurement and subcontractors
• Support the customer relationship at a technical level
• Set goals for field management, subcontractors and vendors; manage performance
• Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to optimize efficiency and prevent cost overruns
• Enforce company policies, safety standards and installation best practices
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned
