Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a skilled maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV operations. You will monitor and maintain SCADA-enabled systems, perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of inverters, transformers, switchgear and metering equipment.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work independently with minimal direction within company processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPIs: energy generation, PM adherence, plant & equipment efficiency.
• Promote safe work environment and comply with protocols.
• Manage personal safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Follow Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist with PM work: measurement, testing, and maintenance of site components.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Assist with on-site projects, installations, commissioning and testing.
• Ensure documentation and reports are complete and filed.
• Attend safety and environmental trainings as assigned.
