Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Utility Solar Technician I to maintain and operate a utility-scale PV power plant in Rosamond, CA. Responsibilities include monitoring SCADA, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on inverters, PV arrays, transformers, and metering systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related experience, and the ability to lift 70 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems.
