Job summary

ACT Power Services, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the safe, productive day-to-day onsite operations of a utility-scale solar PV plant. You will oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize production while ensuring compliance and safety.

The role requires deep knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code, SCADA/DAS operations, and driving performance in a fast-paced environment. Travel and on-call duties are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PV maintenance with PV DC operations, AC MV systems, substation operations and monitoring.
• Experience with SCADA, DAS and UPS systems.
• Knowledge of NEC code and standard design/construction practices.
• Ability to read electrical single-line and three-line diagrams.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call as needed.
• NABCEP Certification is preferred/required.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, productive day-to-day onsite operations for a utility-scale solar PV plant.
• PerformPreventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to maximize production.
• Uphold high safety standards and compliance across operations.
• Maintain equipment and service reports, inspections, and spare parts inventory.
• Provide training to technicians as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and coordinate with maintenance teams.
