ACT Power Services is seeking a Solar Master Technician to perform safe, productive repairs and maintenance of Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants. You will handle preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize production and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining modules, strings, trackers, and inverters, while learning NEC codes and best practices. This role offers outdoor work at varied sites with opportunities for advancement and

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in using power tools for repair tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certificate.
• Must be able to travel and be on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything you do.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar facilities.
• Learn NEC code, electrical theory and industry best practices.
• Perform DC and AC testing and I-V curve tracing.
• Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and connections.
• Maintain maintenance schedule for equipment across solar facilities.
