Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Project Manager, Solar O&M to lead the development of proposals, coordinate with electrical contractors, and optimize quotations for Pearce Renewables across the U.S. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Procurement to drive growth and ensure technically sound, competitive offerings.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical installations, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience with product knowledge and pricing awareness.
• Knowledgeable in electrical installation including contract documents, estimates, construction, and maintenance specs.
• Excellent communication and networking skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to lead and drive process improvements.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently in a high-growth environment.
• Customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents in response to customer requests.
• Reviews bids with electrical contractors and approves them.
• Identifies and onboards new electrical contractors to strengthen Pearce’s offerings.
• Drives improvement in subcontractor onboarding to reduce delays and improve coverage.
• Coordinates internal resources and third parties for multiple projects and maximizes opportunities.
• Develops a repository of templates, language, collateral, and data for high-quality responses.
• Partners with Procurement to meet vendors and negotiate pricing; communicate service concerns.
• Manages changes to scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
• Maintains relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Establishes relationships with third parties/vendors; maintains project documentation.
• Defines project scope/objectives with internal stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility.
• Obtains customer acceptance of deliverables and identifies new opportunities.
• Prepares status reports by gathering and summarizing information.
• Submits deliverables that adhere to quality standards.
• Coordinates cross-discipline teams to meet requirements, deadlines, schedules.
• Understands contracts for assigned accounts in detail.
• Monitors site performance and Pearce metrics; triggers corrective actions as needed.
• Communicates incident notifications and status to customers; schedules meetings.
• Resolves disagreements and manages customer relationships to minimize disputes.
• Spot checks work-order records and provides feedback to staff.
• Provides coaching to team members on assigned obligations.
• Monitors accounts receivable and takes action for overdue payments.
• Understands profit/loss on accounts and supports cost management.
