Job summary

Venture Home is seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Representative to join our in-store team inside Lowe's locations in New Jersey. In this role you will engage homeowners about solar energy, qualify prospects, and schedule complimentary in-home consultations with our Energy Consultants.

You'll earn on-target earnings of $55,000–$85,000 with competitive hourly pay and uncapped commission, plus a full benefits package and opportunities for career growth in a fast-growing energy company.

Qualifications

• Comfortable starting conversations with new people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, lead generation, marketing, or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage homeowners in friendly, informative conversations about solar energy and home energy savings.
• Qualify homeowners based on basic solar eligibility criteria.
• Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar.
• Schedule qualified homeowners for complimentary in-home consultations with a Venture Home Energy Consultant.
