Zusammenfassung

ACT Power Services is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician to perform safe, on-site maintenance and repair of commercial and utility-scale solar PV facilities. You will support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of inverters, trackers, and other equipment while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires field work, travel to multiple sites, and on-call availability. Strong safety culture, basic electrical knowledge, and ability to read drawings are

Qualifikationen

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of relevant field experience in solar, electrical or related technical trade
QEW sign-off or ability to obtain within onboarding period
OSHA 10 General Industry certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Ability to read and interpret drawings including fuses, breakers, switches and BoS equipment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite

Aufgaben

Uphold a high level of safety standards in all tasks
Assist in preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar facilities
Perform string-level troubleshooting, tracker inspections and basic maintenance support
Conduct routine vegetation and site inspections
Log data into Fiix, TrueContext, Deputy and ACT SharePoint
