Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Solar Field Technician in Price, Utah, to provide ongoing field services support for solar and BESS systems, perform inspections, maintenance, testing, and respond to on-demand issues to optimize equipment performance.

You will work with field teams, receive coaching, and participate in safety orientations, with travel to client sites as needed. Requires 0-2 years in solar or renewables; strong safety mindset and ability to lift 25-50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Degree, Or, equivalent combination of education and experience; Veterans or military experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar sites, troubleshoot equipment failures and perform preventative maintenance on solar, BESS, and related equipment.
• Maintain safety by following protocols, lock-out/tag-out, JHA, and other safety procedures.
• Prepare service tickets and reports for site visits, emergency repairs, and equipment modifications.
• Coordinate with technical leads and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution of activities and safety/compliance concerns.
