Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Solar Field Technician to support field operations across solar and battery storage systems. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while coordinating with field teams and clients.

The role involves travel, hands-on troubleshooting, and continuous learning in MV/HV electrical work. High school or technical training required; 0–2+ years preferred, with NEC/NFPA-70e knowledge valuable.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-2+ years of specialist, technical experience with solar projects, BESS, or other renewable systems.
• Licenses/certifications like NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar sites and BESS systems; assist field teams with real-time solutions.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company and client protocols; perform troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Prepare service tickets and site reports; communicate with leads and subcontractors for timely resolutions.
• Support field operations and safety training; assist with warranty matters and equipment improvements.
