Job summary

Pearce Renewables is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician I, II (Operations and Maintenance) to perform on-site maintenance at solar energy sites near Mojave, California. The technician will operate and maintain solar plants per preventive and corrective maintenance standards while upholding safety and professionalism.

Candidates should reside within 50 miles of Mojave, CA, have 2+ years in Commercial/Industrial O&M of solar plants, and be proficient with electrical troubleshooting,

Qualifications

2+ years of Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar power plants.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Experience with inverters, tracker systems, or substations preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of solar utility and sub-station equipment.
Document work orders, time logs, inventory, and emergency schedules.
Troubleshoot electrical components with meters and testing equipment.
Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment to ensure proper operation.
Maintain a strong safety background with LOTO and JHA practices.
