Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Solar Field Technician to provide ongoing field services across solar and battery storage systems, performing inspections, maintenance, testing, and on-demand repairs to optimize equipment performance.

You will work with field teams, coordinate with technical leads and subcontractors, and participate in safety orientations; travel regionally and nationally as required, with opportunities for certifications and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school or technical school degree or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of specialist experience with solar projects or BESS.
• Experience with data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar, BESS, and related equipment to prevent site issues.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, testing, and compliance tasks at sites.
• Prepare service tickets and reports; communicate with leads and subcontractors to resolve issues.
