Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Solar Field Technician to deliver field services across multiple solar and battery storage systems. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform routine inspections, and support maintenance projects in a dynamic O&M environment.

Travel regionally and nationally as needed, with safety and compliance always prioritized. Ideal applicants have 0–2+ years of experience in solar or renewable systems, knowledge of NEC/NFPA-70e, and basic IT networking skills.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years of specialist, technical experience with solar projects, BESS, or other renewable systems.
• Experience with data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar, BESS, and related systems; troubleshoot field issues.
• Support field operations with real-time solutions; perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare service tickets and reports after site visits or emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with leads and subcontractors to resolve safety and compliance matters.
