Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Service Technician I to assist senior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance of solar panels, trackers, and power inverters while adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in a related technical field preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of high- and medium-voltage power systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining solar facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on PV assets (panels, trackers, inverters).
• Troubleshoot low voltage DC and AC power systems.
• Follow site safety plans and LOTO practices.
• Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Maintain inventory and use CMMS for work orders.
