Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support senior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities. You will assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of on-site assets such as solar panels, trackers, and power inverters.

Based in Texas, you will respond to emergencies within 1.5 hours, use CMMS to log work, and maintain a strong safety and quality focus. The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to travel, and an ability to work rotating

Qualifications

• High school/GED General Education required.
• 1+ years or more Related maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Electrical power systems (Drawings, Basic circuit theory)
• OSHA regulations
• Hand tools

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining solar facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on on-site assets (solar panels, trackers, power inverters).
• Use CMMS to log work and manage site inventory.
• Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Respond to priority emergency calls within 1.5 hours.
• Operate RES vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
