Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance at multiple solar plants. You will follow safe work practices, operate equipment, and troubleshoot basic solar systems under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to travel to remote sites. An on-call schedule and compliance with safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• Has a high school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Familiarity with solar installations and testing equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field maintenance in solar plants under supervision.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance using monitoring programs.
• Respond on-call for emergency repairs and document work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management to improve processes and safety.
• Maintain accurate reports and ensure quality procedures.
