Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a permanent, site-based role at a U.S. location.

The position requires relocation to a site; relocation expenses are not provided. You will learn safe solar field practices while performing maintenance and basic testing under supervision. The job emphasizes safety, documentation, and ability to work at remote sites with potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and perform Lock Out/Tag Out as required.
• Comfort working in mechanical/electrical environments and remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the top priority and enforces safe practices.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Respond on-call as directed by supervisor for emergency repairs.
• Prepare reports and documentation of work performed.
