Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. is hiring a Certified Hybrid Field Technician to perform site assessments, inspections, and field work for residential solar installations. You will collect data, evaluate roof and electrical conditions, and help ensure readiness for AHJ inspections and utility approvals.

The role requires a Journeyman or higher electrical certification, PV experience, and comfort working on rooftops using ladders. A company vehicle is provided and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid state electrical certification at Journeyman level or higher.
PV design/installation experience helpful, minimum 1 year field construction.
Comfort on roofs, ladders, and tight spaces; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photos and electrical data.
Assess roofs, electrical panels, and property features using standard tools.
Perform post-install inspection and ensure readiness for AHJ/utility approval.
Collaborate with install teams to resolve inspection issues and document results.
Schedule inspections with AHJ and customers; maintain safety and compliance.
