Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Certified Hybrid Field Technician to support residential solar installations by performing site assessments and post-install inspections.

This fast-paced role emphasizes accurate data collection, hands-on work, and collaboration across multiple job sites to ensure readiness for AHJ and utility approvals. You will gather measurements, evaluate roof and electrical conditions, and coordinate with install teams to resolve inspection-related issues while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state electrical certification at Journeyman, Wireman, or higher, in good standing.
• 1+ year field construction experience preferred; PV design/installation exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features.
• Climb ladders and inspect rooftops and attics as needed.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools.
• Perform post-install inspection visits for final readiness.
