Job summary

Sunrun seeks a Certified Hybrid Field Technician to support residential solar installations and site assessments. You will perform data collection, inspections, and lone worker field tasks across various locations, ensuring accuracy and code compliance.

This fast-paced role involves roof work, ladder use, and coordinating with AHJs and customers. Sunrun provides growth opportunities, safety training, and a company vehicle for daily site visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state electrical certification at Journeyman or higher.
• PV design/installation or PV electrical experience preferred (1 year).
• Comfortable working on roofs and ladders.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements and data for solar design.
• Accurately assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features.
• Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools in a timely, complete manner.
• Perform post-installation inspections to ensure readiness for AHJ or utility approval.
• Coordinate with install teams to resolve inspection issues as needed.
• Schedule inspections with AHJ and customers and ensure safety compliance.
• Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.
