Job summary

IronRidge, Inc., part of Enstall Solar Group, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer based in the Northeast with a preference for Massachusetts. You will cultivate business opportunities through technical product application support, demonstrations, joint calls with sales, on-site visits, and product training for solar mounting hardware.

Responsibilities include planning territory visits, generating training reports, coordinating on-the-job training, collecting feedback for product

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years related experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and regulations.
Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals.
Ability to lift and carry solar modules up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
Familiarity with Salesforce and MS Excel; able to learn software tools.
Competency in solar layout, mounting, and racking for residential/light commercial.

Responsibilities

Plan territory technical sales visits, events, and trainings.
Generate training reports for customer and sales engagements.
Coordinate on-the-job training for new opportunities on ground and rooftop.
Provide feedback to Engineering for product improvements.
Design PV layouts in IR and other PV design software to support sales and end users.
Maintain records and report market changes in weekly meetings.
Report on competitive landscape and market intelligence.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
