Job summary

IronRidge is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to drive technical sales and support for residential and commercial solar projects. This role requires frequent travel across the Eastern United States, especially the Northeast, and on-site customer engagements, product demonstrations, and training.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree, with proficiency in solar layout, Salesforce, and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and gov regs.
• Experience with field applications and technical product support.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits and trainings.
• Provide on-site product demonstrations and joint calls with sales.
• Document support questions and relay feedback to Engineering.
• Design PV layouts to support sales, distributors, and end users.
• Travel ~50% with 5–10 overnights monthly.
