Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate with home-office engineering and external firms, ensuring reliable, quality, cost-effective, and safe designs on the project site. You will lead a team of Field Engineers, manage RFIs, submittals, and design issues, and work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to monitor schedule and cost performance.

The role requires relocation to the project site for the duration (typically 6–15 months) and involves

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in renewables; solar experience is a plus.
• Experience as a PE in an EPC firm is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based project controls and coordinate with home-office teams.
• Direct Field Engineers and coordinate with third-party engineers and client.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and design issues.
• Support safety, quality, and project controls programs.
