Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Design Lead to mentor design leads from Preliminary through IFC drawings for utility-scale solar facilities. You will support Engineers of Record, EPC/EPC reviews, and lead process improvements while coordinating multiple disciplines.

The role requires 7+ years in design and strong communication, with travel up to 25% to support projects across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years of design, design process management, or design execution experience.
• Experience in utility-scale solar PV projects or renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to project design leads and associate leads.
• Attend design reviews and provide comments on engineering deliverables.
• Support EOR contract creation and EPC scope reviews.
• Forecast internal needs based on project pipeline and assign tasks.
• Develop standards and processes to streamline design lead tasks.
• Lead or assist as main design lead on projects and ensure designs consider install and long-term operations.
