Job summary

Venture Home, operating inside a Lowe's store, is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Representative to educate homeowners on solar energy and schedule in-home consultations with our Energy Consultants.

You will engage customers, qualify leads, and communicate clear energy savings while building relationships with local homeowners in Portland, ME. This is a high-energy role with uncapped commissions and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Comfortable starting conversations with new people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, lead generation, marketing, or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage homeowners in friendly, informative conversations about solar energy and home energy savings.
• Qualify homeowners based on basic solar eligibility criteria.
• Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar.
• Schedule qualified homeowners for complimentary in-home consultations with a Venture Home Energy Consultant.
