Job summary

Trillium Construction in Ursa, IL seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead daily field operations for commercial solar and renewable energy projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

Requirements include OSHA 30 certification and Procore proficiency, with at least five years of supervisory experience in commercial construction. This is a contract role with potential to transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Procore proficiency for daily reports and RFIs.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with solar or renewable energy projects desired.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities to meet safety, schedule and quality.
• Supervise crews, subcontractors and trade partners with clear direction.
• Coordinate work plans, site logistics, labor, equipment and materials.
• Monitor schedules, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Use Procore for daily reports, drawings, RFIs, submittals and punch lists.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular site inspections.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, owners, inspectors and subs.
• Review drawings and specs to identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Track production, manpower, milestones and maintain records.
