Job summary

Harvest Solar is seeking an Assistant Construction Site Superintendent to support field operations on EPC solar projects in Champaign, IL. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating crews, subcontractors, and project managers through installation, testing, and closeout phases.

Responsibilities include safety plans, JHA coordination, Procore documentation, and ensuring compliance with plans and manufacturer requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate or Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
Valid State Driver’s License required.
2–4 years construction experience including solar EPC field work; lead/foreman preferred.
OSHA 30 preferred; NABCEP preferred; First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.

Responsibilities

Safety first: enforce safety plans, stop unsafe work, and notify leadership.
Ensure quality control via plans review, inspections, and RFIs with project team.
Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and plan of the day for smooth execution.
Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and punch lists to close out work.
Support scheduling, procurement, and commissioning readiness for EPC activities.
