Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to supervise field construction activities on a Pekin, IL jobsite, coordinating crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, on-time projects.

The role supports the Superintendent, helps manage schedules and materials, enforces safety standards, reviews drawings, and maintains project documentation. Requires 2–4 years supervisory experience and experience on utility-scale solar projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering or construction management or architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Field construction supervisory experience on large projects.
• Experience on utility-scale solar projects and knowledge of safety standards (OSHA/NFPA 70E/NEC).
• Strong scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent in managing field construction activities and directing crews/subcontractors.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of field personnel to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain relationships with Owners, Engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams through clear communication.
