Job summary

Harvest Solar is seeking an Assistant Construction Site Superintendent to support field operations on EPC solar projects in Champaign, IL. You will help with safety, quality, scheduling, crew coordination, and documentation from site prep through installation and turnover.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field crews, Project Managers, Safety, and Quality to ensure safe, efficient construction within project schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as primary consideration on site.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and Harvest Solar standards.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) before work begins and during changes.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and proper condition of vehicles and storage areas.
• Coordinate with Superintendent, Safety team, and subcontractors to support safety and scheduling.
• Prepare daily/weekly field reports and document project progress.
