Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Construction Commissioning Manager I and II to join our Solar group. The role focuses on project construction and contract administration activities, ensuring successful commissioning in a 100% travel position across various project locations within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or 10 years of equivalent field experience.
• Minimum six years of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with an MEP Contractor or Commissioning firm.
• Expert understanding of how design, construction, start-up, commissioning, and turnover align within the project delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Perform scope of work technical reviews and provide detailed comments and recommendations.
• Develop commissioning specifications and create commissioning plans, checklists, and tests.
• Lead field visits, observe commissioning inspections and provide technical guidance.
