Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager I or II to lead a Solar group project or multiple projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction. You will mentor the project team, build client relationships, and adapt to an ever-changing environment with integrity and discretion.

The role supports two levels (PM I and PM II) with compensation determined by experience and location. Travel up to 100% is required for select assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of construction/project management experience for Senior PM I.
• Minimum 10 years of construction/project management experience for Senior PM II.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work with diverse input.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overall financial health of projects.
• Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections.
• Allocate project estimates into the financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoices.
• Provide financials and billings to accounting, create monthly owner billings.
• Handle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budget and selections.
• Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, provide job assignments and training.
• Function as main contact with owner and on-site representative.
• Resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Maintain schedule and budget, manage quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
