Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Executive within its Solar group to provide overall management for large projects and lead project teams. You will drive customer relations, oversee budgets, and balance onsite and remote work to deliver results.

You will own a portfolio of projects, guide teams from preconstruction to closeout, and collaborate with operating groups to win work and ensure profitable delivery across a regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience managing large construction projects.
• Experience with energy projects preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction law and standard business practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships
• Conduct key customer service visits from pre‑construction to close‑out
• Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal process
• Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects
• Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships
• Provide oversight and accountability for large projects
• Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices
• Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project team
