PEARCE is hiring a Solar Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician for its Renewables OM division to perform O&M tasks on commercial/industrial projects across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, site planning, and hands-on electrical work at locations within 50 miles of Mojave, CA.

The ideal candidate has 1–4+ years of electrical proficiency, renewable energy experience, strong safety mindset, and relevant post-secondary education.

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of electrical proficiency required.
• 1–4+ years of renewable energy experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Post-secondary education preferred; OSHA/NFPA70E certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on BESS equipment.
• Conduct pre-task planning, JHAs, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers professionally.
• Support site work with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
