Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an Advanced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician for operations and maintenance tasks at commercial solar energy projects. Candidates with electrical proficiency and renewable energy experience preferred. The role requires troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of BESS equipment. Compensation is $30.00–$42.00 hourly, plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k). Candidates residing near Hobbs, New Mexico are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.
• 1–4+ years of renewable energy experience is preferred.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment.
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions.
