Job summary

Pearce Services in the United States is seeking an Experienced Travel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician for the PEARCE Renewables ESS division. This 100% travel role covers commercial and industrial solar projects nationwide, performing O&M and hands-on labor.

You will troubleshoot BESS, execute LOTO, participate in pre-task planning and risk assessments, and collaborate with vendors and customers while upholding safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years electrical experience with electrical systems and components.
• 2+ years renewable energy experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus with attention to detail.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Electrical OSHA 10/30 and NFPA 70E certifications preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on BESS equipment.
• Perform LOTO of equipment as an authorized person.
• Lead pre-task planning, JHAs, and risk assessments.
• Interact with vendors and customers professionally.
• Support site work and supervise field tasks focusing on safety and quality.
