Job summary

Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure across North America. The Solar Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician role supports PEARCE Renewables OM division on U.S.

solar projects, with local site work near Mojave, CA. The role requires 1–4+ years in electrical work and renewable energy, strong safety mindset, and OSHA/NFPA70E certifications where available.

Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.
• 1-4+ years of Renewable energy experience is preferred.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
• Post-secondary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on BESS equipment.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions.
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, JHAs, and Risk Assessments (RAs).
• Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
• Act as a team member to support site work focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
