Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering related to Energy Systems or Technology.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems.
• Capable of managing small projects or tasks and mentoring technicians.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum of two years of experience with data historians and performance monitoring tools.
• Advanced knowledge of battery operation and maintenance.
• Experienced understanding of electrical power generation, operation, and maintenance.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and test reports.
• Must be a team player and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• May work flexible hours.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical support for the solar and BESS operating fleet.
• Recommend and drive solutions to maximize reliability and operation of Solar and BESS equipment.
• Provide SME for Solar modules, inverters, and BESS.
• Contribute to development and updating of engineering specifications and procedures.
• Support O&M during new project construction and acquisition, ensuring readiness.
• Review and evaluate BESS capacity testing.
• Support training programs for site personnel.
• Evaluate equipment obsolescence and repowering opportunities.
• Provide technical support for warranties and insurance claims.
• Collaborate to solve complex renewable energy equipment problems.
