Job summary

Clearway Energy Group seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Operations Engineering for solar PV and battery storage assets. Hybrid role based in Scottsdale, AZ, overseeing reliability, root cause analysis, testing, and performance optimization across the fleet.

You will mentor engineers, develop engineering standards, review project documentation, and collaborate with O&M, asset management, compliance, and external vendors to deliver safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.E. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading engineering teams and technical programs.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations Engineering support for Solar PV and BESS across the Clearway fleet.
• Drive reliability improvements and root cause analysis for Solar and BESS.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and knowledge databases.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functional technical workstreams.
