Job summary

Ørsted Group is seeking a hands-on Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day operations at the Permian Solar and BESS facility in the Central Region. You will interact with the O&M service provider, local landowners, agencies, and authorities to ensure safe, reliable operations and strong QHSE culture.

The role requires at least five years in power generation operations, a Journeyman/Master Electrician license (or similar military experience), and a track record in supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in operations or maintenance in power generation, transmission, distribution, or related field.
• Journeyman or master electrician license, or military experience substituting for years of experience.
• Over one year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work on-call, overnight, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb equipment and wind turbines of varying heights.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Permian Solar and BESS.
• Engage with O&M service provider, local stakeholders, landowners, and authorities.
• Drive world-class QHSE culture and performance at project sites.
• Deliver high asset availability and power production through technical performance.
