Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to supervise on-site operations of a PV power plant (>30 MW) and a large battery energy storage system (>100 MWh). The role requires electrical/electronic expertise, the ability to perform maintenance, and to supervise contractors in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be comfortable working rotating shifts, possess strong communication skills in English, and be prepared for site duties that support energy infrastructure across North America.

Qualifications

• Rotation shifts required with availability to work on site.
• Technical knowledge of electricity, electronics, HVAC, and PV systems.
• Candidate should be capable of physical labor and following work instructions.
• Desirable: valid passport and U.S. visa; English communication skills; driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations in real time.
• Maintain communication with CENACE or equivalent authorities.
• Operate PV plants (>30 MW) and BESS (>100 MWh).
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Supervise contractors and manage inventory.
• Prepare O&M reports and manage work orders in the EAM system.
