Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in El Campo, TX. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems, following strict safety procedures and using CMMS to document activities.

Experience with SCADA, electrical schematics, and preventive/corrective maintenance is essential to ensure efficient site operations and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficient reading electrical schematics; familiar with SCADA and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair AC/DC systems, inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist commissioning and modifications.
• Follow safety protocols (JHA/LOTO) and maintain CMMS maintenance records.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and mentor junior technicians.
