Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Utility Scale Solar & BESS Plant Manager for Eagle Mountain, UT. You will oversee field services, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure O&M compliance across solar and BESS assets while coordinating inspections and safety training.

The role requires 4+ years in plant management or field engineering for power generation, with experience on 600V-1500V systems and NEC/NFPA 70E. Inverter/BESS certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Degree or equivalent.
• 4 years of technical Plant Manager or Field Engineer experience in power generation.
• Experience with 600V–1500V systems; NEC/NFPA-70E knowledge.
• Certifications in inverter/BESS are a plus; familiarity with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar/BESS system failures and schedule maintenance.
• Manage internal and external field teams and site scheduling.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance on site.
• Prepare service tickets, reports, and communicate with leadership.
• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors for timely activities.
