Job summary

QE Solar is a leading independent solar and BESS O&M provider. As Plant Manager, you will supervise field services to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing O&M compliance across sites.

Role requires 4+ years as Plant Manager or Field Engineer, experience with 600V-1500V systems, NEC/IEEE/NFPA-70E, and inverter/BESS certifications; duties include safety leadership and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power generation systems (PV, BESS), and electrician skills.
• Proficiency with SCADA/PPC and industrial control protocols.
• IT/networking basics: RS485, Modbus, TCP/IP, and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair failures on solar sites and BESS equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage field teams and scheduling of internal staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and site adherence to plans, permits, and NFPA 70E standards.
• Prepare service tickets and reports for site visits and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with leadership, clients, and subcontractors to resolve activities in a timely manner.
