Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Plant Manager to supervise field services supporting solar, BESS, and other renewable systems, optimizing performance and ensuring O&M compliance. You will assist with scheduling inspections, testing, and project safety orientation to develop technical skills across PV, inverter, MV, and related electrical work.

Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, leading internal and external field teams, maintaining safety programs, and generating service tickets and reports.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Degree; Veterans or military experience encouraged to apply.
• 4 year applicable degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair system failures on existing solar sites and BESS equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage field teams and scheduling of internal field personnel; ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safe work environment; enforce safety protocols and site safety plans (lock-out/tag-out, JHA, NFPA 70E).
• Prepare service tickets and reports for site visits and emergency repairs; communicate findings clearly to leadership and clients.
• Coordinate with leadership, project leads, clients, and subcontractors to resolve activities in a timely manner.
