Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Plant Manager to supervise field services for solar, BESS, and related systems. You will oversee inspections, maintenance projects, and equipment testing while ensuring regulatory compliance and high safety standards.

The role involves leading internal and external field teams, coordinating with clients, and driving continuous improvement in site performance and reliability. Candidates should have substantial experience in power generation and field operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power generation systems (substations, PV, BESS) and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with SCADA/PP C or similar control systems.
• Ability to work with field teams and coordinate across vendors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar, BESS, and related equipment on site.
• Manage internal and external field teams and scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance per NEC, NFPA 70e, and site plans.
• Prepare service tickets and site reports; communicate findings to leadership.
• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to resolve issues.
